How to beat the crowds

  • Eat early or late. 5pm or 8:30pm on weekends; the 6–8pm window is the crush.
  • Check the festival calendar. On event weekends, Main Street restaurants are slammed all day — that's the night for Cool Springs.
  • Lunch is the arbitrage. Same kitchens, half the wait, and downtown is prettiest in daylight anyway.
