The strategy
- Before 9am or after 1pm — the 9:30–12:30 window is when all of Williamson County has the same idea.
- Sunday over Saturday — the church crowd hits at noon; 9am Sunday is the quietest good slot of the weekend.
- Put your name in, then walk Main Street — most downtown spots text you. The wait is only painful if you spend it standing in a doorway.
